Özet
Noninvasive ventilation (NIV) is an important tool for the management of patients with chronic hypercapnic respiratory failure. Data is emerging on the role of long-term NIV and knowledge of prognostic parameters may be clinically helpful for the management of these patients. This chapter summarizes the predictors of long-term survival for patients receiving NIV therapy.
