Özet
In this study, the effects of defibrotide on heamorheological parameters of patients who suffer from peripheral vascular diseases were investigated. Samples were driven before and at 30th minute, 2nd hour and 3rd hour after I.V. injection of 600 mg defibrotide. Blood plasma viscosity and erythrocyte deformability indexes were also determined. Blood viscosity values of 2nd hour were found to be higher than those of other values. On the other hand deformability index values of same samples were found to be lower (Statistically significant). As a result of this study it can be said that; injection of defibrotide is effective on blood viscosity and erythrocyte deformability. This effect arrives to the maximum value at 2nd hour. Application of defibrotide has no effect an plasma viscosity.
