Özet
Elective aortic valve replacement was planned for the patient who was premedicated with 10 mg diazepam p.o. and 10 mg morfin i.m. anesthesia was induced with 30 μg/kg, fentanyl, 0.1 mg/kg pancuronium bromide and 0.5 mgr/kg diazepam and the patient was ventilated with 50% air and 50% O2. After the valve replacement and extracorporeal circulation was lasted it was seen that altough there was a kind of leukocyte sequestration in venous blood samples (29.800/mm3) taken from pulmonary artery catheters there had been only a few leukocyte in arterial blood samples. The investigation of leukopenia in this patient led us to point out that leukocyte count in arterial and venous blood samples could be the first marker of the probable immunologic reactions.
