Özet
Nowadays, environmental resources are facing an increasing risk of pollution problems due to a wide variety of pollutants, from pharmaceutical products to plastic waste, and environmental pollution continues to be a serious problem in the world. The primary sources of pollution are sewage, municipal waste, land and water transport, and agricultural practices. Pollution transported in this way degrades the environment and is the cause of many diseases among humans and animals. Environmental pollution causes economic and social problems by affecting human health and other ecosystems. Considering all these, the analysis of environmental samples is of great importance. Many methods have been used to determine environmental pollutants, such as liquid chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry, and voltammetry. However, these analyses are carried out to ensure the environmental safety, ecosystem, and all living things, not using environmentally friendly solvents and methods. The generation of environmentally harmful wastes creates a great contradiction. With the increase in environmental pollution worldwide, awareness of both pollution analysis of ecological sources and more environmentally friendly analysis methods is increasing, and a green analytical chemistry approach has been adopted. This section evaluates green sensors, green solvents, green electrochemical sensor applications for environmental monitoring, and electrode materials synthesized by green methods by considering current studies.
