Özet
A new bioengineering approach to increase production capacity and solve corrosion problems using microorganisms is studied. Thermoanaerobium brocki, Sulfomonas thiooxidans, Chlorobium thiosulfatophilum microorganisms (by applying some cloning techniques) will be used to produce sulfuric acid in the carbonate reservoir (H2SO4, which makes acidizing effect in a large area in some carbonate reservoirs.) using the hydrogen sulfur and some other additives. A new strategic approach for increasing the production capacity and solving the corrosion problem in some carbonate reservoirs, from the bioengineering sight is discussed. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 19th World Petroleum Congress (Madrid, Spain 6/29/2008).
