Pyelonephritis due to spontaneous massive steinstrasse and its treatment: A rare case report

Özet
Spontaneous steinstrasse is rarely reported. We present a case of acute pyelonephritis due to spontaneous steinstrasse and obstructed kidney. A 74-year-old man was admitted with pyelonephritis. This patient, who had no risk factors, was made stone-free with ureterorenoscopic lithotripsy in two separate sessions. Steinstrasse can occur spontaneously or after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy and can be treated effectively with ureterorenoscopic lithotripsy.
