Özet
Although depression and mental inattention are common complaints in brucellosis, direct invasion of the central nervous system occurs in less than 5% of cases. Nervous system complications include meningitis, encephalitis, myelitis-radiculoneuronitis, brain abscess, epidural abscess, demyelinating syndromes, and meningovascular syndromes. Acute or chronic meningitis is the most frequent central nervous system complication. Diagnosis and treatment of neurobrucellosis which may reveal different neurological features are very important.
