Özet

Epidemiological and clinical observation in 362 Ulcerative Colitis and 91 Crohn's disease were made in Turkiye Yuksek Ihtisas Hospital between January, 1993 and December, 1997. Besides demographic findings of the patients, cigarette consumption, oral contraceptive usage, family history, geographic distribution and ameobea frequency as an activating agent were established. The data obtained were evaluated in the light of literature.
