Özet
Gastric trichobezoar describes a collection of undigested hairs in the stomach frequently resulting from trichophagia (hair consumption). Diagnosis may be delayed since the symptoms and findings are non-specific. We describe a 16-year-old girl with symptoms persisting for longer than 10 years, presenting to and being treated by various health institutions, but only diagnosed with trichobezoar at the age of 16.
