Lichen planus (LP) is an acquired inflammatory dermatos. Linear lichen planus (LLP) is a rare form of LP and generally exhibits in chidhood. It is commonly seen as secondary to the Koebner phenomenon. However, it can be segmental or follows the lines of Blaschko. A 30-year-old woman with complaint of pruritic rash on her left arm was admitted to our polyclinic. She had a history of burn on her left arm four weeks prior to admission. Dermatological examination showed violaceous polygonal 3-12 mm papules localized to the left arm in a linear pattern. The mucous membranes, scalp and nails were unaffected. Laboratory test results were all within normal limits. A punch biopsy was performed. A diagnosis of LLP was made according to clinical and histopathological findings. Herein, we report a 30-year-old woman who had unilateral LLP over left upper extremity after burn because of the rarity of this disease.
