Özet
One of the best ways to achieve immunization is through vaccination practices, which are the building blocks of health care services. The protection and promotion of public health are aimed at vaccination practices. With the immunization programs during pregnancy when many physiological and immunological changes occur, the protection of the health of both the expectant mother/mother and the fetus/newborn is aimed. In this chapter, vaccines are discussed in four groups, including vaccines recommended during pregnancy (adult type Tdap and inactivated influenza vaccine), contraindicated vaccines (measles, rubella, mumps, chickenpox, tuberculosis vaccine, human papilloma virus, and live influenza vaccine), vaccines limited to being administered with special conditions during pregnancy (smallpox, Anthrax, Pneumococcus, Meningococcus, Hepatitis A and B, H. influenza Type B and rabies vaccine), and vaccines recommended while traveling (poliovirus, yellow fever, typhoid, and Japanese Encephalitis vaccine), by taking into account maternal and fetal health, living environment and traveling status during pregnancy.
