Özet
There are problems both in society and media for creating a positive nursing image in our country and abroad. To overcome these kinds of problems nurses must share important responsibilities. It is thought that developing a positive nursing image for the society will increase the quality of care given for patients and satisfaction of patients as well as the self-image of the nurses. This article was organized to deal with the responsibilities of nurses and nurse managers to increase the visibility of nurse work and to strengthen the nursing image.
