Özet
Delivering anaesthesia needs continuous monitoring of patients’ circulation, respiration oxygenation, and temperature. Nowadays, any type of anaesthesia delivery (general anaesthesia, neuraxial anaesthesia, and local anaesthesia) mandates strict adherence to ASA (American Society of Anaesthesia) standards, however, some advanced monitoring is also needed in special situations, such as advanced cardiac monitoring and advanced coagulopathy monitoring.This chapter will be divided in two main parts the first one will discuss essential monitors that used frequently in daily practice while second part will review some basic and advanced equipment such as (laryngoscope and blades, flexible bronchoscope, autotransfusion device, and cell salvage).
