Özet
Objective: Blue code is an application designed to improve th effectiveness of in-hospital arrest manengement. With this article, we aimed to evaluate the blue code interventions made in our hospital and to make suggestions. Method: In order to evaluate 849 blue code calls made in 2017, the unit in which the call was made, the time of the call, the reason, the consequences of the calls and the results of the interventions were noted. Results: Recordings were made for 578 of the calls and 190 cardiopulmonary arrest cases were reached in time and 21 of these cases were discharged. Conclusion: We believe that timely intervention is achieved but inappropriate calls should be reduced by means such as frequent training, and the quality of practice in survival can be improved by further training.
