Özet
Neuromuscular diseases represent a group of diseases characterized by muscle weakness. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, and myopathies are subgroups of neuromuscular diseases. There are important points that should be considered during the follow-up of each disease under intensive care conditions. Neuromuscular diseases can be followed up in intensive care units due to the natural course of these diseases, or they may occur while being followed up for other reasons in the intensive care unit. A multidisciplinary approach is required for their diagnosis. With timely and effective treatments in intensive care follow-ups, significant contributions can be made to prevent mortality and permanent sequelae due to these diseases.
