Özet

Thoracobiliary fistula is an uncommon clinical syndrome. It is characterized by abnormal communication between the biliary system and the chest. These fistulas are usually formed as a result of complication of hepatic amebiasis and echinococcosis. In this report a case of thoracobiliary fistula in a 13-year-old patient has been presented. Her medical complaints were fever, bilioptesis (expectoration of bile), jaundice and thoracoabdominal pain. The diagnosis was confirmed by US, CT and ERCP. The drainage of right lower lobe lung abcess, ligation of the bile duct which was opened to the cyst, right lung thoracostomy, primary diaphragma repair and cholecystectomy were performed during the operation. No complication was observed in the postoperative period.
