Özet
Objectives: The effective evaluation of chest X-ray is especially important in the diagnosis of respiratory system diseases frequently encountered in primary health care. In this study, we aimed to determine the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of family physician assistants providing primary health care services on the assessment of chest X-ray. Materials and Methods: The questionnaire was prepared to determine the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of family physicians assistants' assessment of chest X-ray, and they were asked about the descriptive characteristics of the assistants (age, gender, year of service, year of assistantship). Results: 92.00% (n = 126) of the assistants stated that they received training in X-ray evaluation. 79.60% (n = 109) of the training received on this subject included pre-graduation training. 93.50% (n = 128) of those who think that practical training on chest X-ray will contribute, and 98.50% (n = 135) stated that theoretical education would contribute. Conclusion: The shortcomings and / or improvement of the experience of family physician assistants with both theoretical and practical trainings for chest X-ray evaluation will contribute to their clinical practice.
