Özet
Tumors of head of pancreas constitute an important part in the differential diagnosis of obstructive jaundice. A large portion of these tumors are adenocarcinomas. It should be kept in mind that pancreatic tumors, which are rarely seen can mimic the same clinic symptoms. In endocrinologically active tumors, clinical findings can be a good guide for diagnosis. Locally advanced tumors can be diagnosed by metastatic findings and compressive symptoms. Clinical findings of non-functional tumors, as in our case, are not relevant until the final stages and early diagnosis is difficult.
