Özet
Tularemia is a zoonotic disease caused by Francisella tularen-sis. It has ulceroglandular, glandular, pneumonic, typhoid, ocu-loglandular and oropharyngeal forms, and has been the cause of several epidemics in our country from time to time. Herein, a sporadic oropharyngeal case that did not respond to quinolone treatment is presented. While starting treatment, abscess formation was observed in ultrasonography and new lymphadenopa-thies developed during the treatment process. Medical treatment with streptomycin and tetracycline as well as surgical drainage was applied to the patient.
