Özet
In this study we investigated the effects of age and anesthetic agent on the incidence of post-spinal headache. 320 subject, ASA I-III, ages between 21-92 were administered spinal anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia were performed with only 22G Quincke needle and two kinds of anesthetic agent (%0.5 Bupivacain, %2 prilocain). Intravenous fluid given before spinal anesthesia were recorded. Subjects were evaluated on 3rd and 7th days postoperatively. The incidence of post-spinal headache was determined as 10.62 %. No significant correlation was determined between anesthetic agent and post- spinal headache. But a significant correlation was determined between headache and age. We determined high incidence of post-spinal headache in patients especially younger than 40 years old.
