Özet
Pathological images resulting from neurological diseases are diagnosed and treated in neurological intensive care units (Neuro-ICUs). The treatment of primary disease should be performed together with the rehabilitation program for all systems with a multidisciplinary approach to patients during the treatment process in the intensive care unit (ICU). It is necessary to plan programs for movement, balance, and sensory disorders based on the needs of patients in the neuro-ICU. A wide range of programs should be included, including muscle exercise programs from bed to walking, respiratory physiotherapy, systemic prophylaxis, and supportive therapies, in this process. Thus, possible complications will be avoided while the neurorehabilitation program contributes to the treatment process of the primary disease. Furthermore, contributions are made to the rehabilitation program to be applied after discharge from the ICU.
