Özet

There is avaible some markers of myocardial injury in early perioperative myocardial infarction (PMI) and after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Transit time flowmeter (TTFM) is an important technique that provides the detection of graft flow. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the left internal mamarian artery(LİMA) flow with TTFM and investigate the LİMA flow effects on cardiac damage and cut-off level of flow. Forty-six patients who were scheduled for coronary artery bypass graft surgery were included in the study. After the cardiopulmonary bypass, mean graft flow (ml/min) and pulsatility index (PI) were assessed with transit time flow meter. Postoperative myocardial injury markers (Cardiac troponin I (cTnI), creatine kinase (CK), and its MB fraction) and ECG records were examined to determine cardiac damage. Mean LIMA flow after cardiopulmonary bypass was 61.6 ± 15ml/min. Mean LIMA flow was found lower In the patient with high TnI [ (63, 6 ± 23 vs 54, 5 ± 15) (P = 0.022) ]. Pulsatility index was similar in both groups (1.9 ± 1.1 vs. 2.6 ± 1.3, P = 0.113). Transit time flowmeter is an important technique that provides the detection of technical errors in coronary artery bypass grafting. Present study was show the patients admitted to the presence of cardiac injury had a lower graft flow. Key words: Transit Time Flowmeter, Left Internal Mammarian Artery, cardiac Injury.
