Serologic prevalence of toxoplasma gondii in chickens in Afyon, Turkey

Özet
Serum samples from 328 chickens (layer hens) from Afyon, Turkey, were examined for antibodies to T. gondii by Sabin-Feldman (SF) dye test. Titers considered diagnostically significant (> or = 1:1-6) were detected in 0.6% of hens. This is the first record of presence of T. gondii in chickens in Afyon province.
