Özet
Due to the limited donor supply and rising demand for organ transplants, the selection and evaluation of recipients for liver transplants has become more difficult, which has increased morbidity and mortality on the waiting list. In this chapter, we will focus on liver procurement. As already discussed several donor approaches exist, including DBD, DCD, and living donation. These strategies have an impact on liver procurement and the outcome of our patients. An overview is provided here.
