Özet
Medical specialization training is a crucial educational process in which the specialized teachings of the medical profession are imparted to physicians at universities or training and research hospitals. In our country, there is no standard for residency or specialization training. A standardized education is simply not possible among public universities, foundation universities, private universities, and their fragmented structures. Now, specialization training in city hospitals has been added to this fragmented educational structure. City hospitals are already institutions with very serious structural, socioeconomic, and healthcare delivery problems. While residency or specialization training in city hospitals shares many common problems with those experienced elsewhere, the chaotic structure of city hospitals exacerbates existing problems. This article attempts to address the problems experienced in specialization training in city hospitals in a general manner.
