Özet
Q fever is a zoonosis caused by C. burnetii. It may appear in clinical forms that vary depending on the immune status of the patient. Once the disease has passed, it creates a permanent immune response. Acute infection mostly presents as flu-like syndrome, hepatitis, pneumonia, and chronic form as heart, vascular and bone joint involvement. Doxycycline is used for varying durations in treatment. It is recommended that people in the risk group be vaccinated.
