Özet
Hypertrophic scars and keloids are all examples of abnormal response to cutaneous wound healing and can be associated with physical and psychological distress. Numerous treatment options exist, but there is still no single proven best treatment or combination of treatments. Biophysical treatment modalities including pressure therapy, silicone sheets and gel formulations, massage therapy, cryotherapy, adhesive tape support, radiofrequency, skin tension and electrical stimulation are effective and safe procedures for the management of hypertrophic scars and keloids but further large-sample clinical trials are required.
