Özet
The physiological effects of mechanical ventilation are well recorded. Non invasive ventilation can alter cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, renal and gastrointestinal functions. Therefore, every attempt should be made to minimize the negative effects of PPV. Therefore, understanding the physiological effects and possible complications of PPV is essential for clinicians involved in ventilator management.
