Özet
Fibrolamellar carcinoma (FLC) is a variant of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It occurs in younger parents (20-30 years) with an equal sex incidence. FLC is generally found in noncirrhotic livers and rarely associated with hepatitis B virus. Moreover, better spontaneous survival, higher resectability rates and more favorable prognosis after resectional therapy in FLC comparing to HCC have been observed. Therefore, early diagnosis of recurrent FLC is important in patient management. We report a case of 19-ys-old male with a liver lesion detected by ultrasound (US) and US-guided biopsy.
