Özet
Congenital syphilis continues to be one of the major public health problems worldwide. The World Health Organization reports that 1 million pregnant women have been affected by syphilis. The disease usually affects the child during the intrauterine period and may lead to spontaneous abortion, premature labor and death. In this case report, a neonate presenting with bullous skin lesions on the feet, macular eruptions on the trunk and desquamation around the mouth just after birth who was diagnosed to have syphilis is reported.
