Özet
Ambulance isolation procedures are protective measures that encompass the cleaning and decontamination of ambulances in both routine and special situations, the availability of appropriate PPE and supplies, Healthcare Personnel HCP knowledge—particularly regarding hand hygiene and preparedness for adverse events. Studies have shown that infection control success increases with HCP training and heightened awareness of infection prevention measures. To prevent the spread of infection in ambulances, all body fluids should be considered potentially infectious, and all surfaces that come into contact with the patient or body fluids must be cleaned and disinfected after each infected case. Laboratory tests, vaccinations, and prophylactic approaches prescribed by infectious disease specialists should be documented in personnel health records.
