Özet
Preeclampsia is a serious condition that has complicated pregnancies for centuries. The angiogenic imbalance is a hallmark of preeclampsia, and angiogenic markers have proved to be effective tools for early diagnosis and prognosis of affected pregnancies. The only effective treatment for preeclampsia remains delivery, but novel therapies are being developed to ameliorate complications and prolong gestation. The aim of this chapter is to provide an updated overview of the most recent innovations and discoveries in the field of the treatment of preeclampsia.
