Özet
Under both international and national legislation, prisoners have the same rights to medical care as people living in the community. It is reported in many reports that violations of the right to health have increased in prisons, whose occupancy rate has reached 115.1% in Turkey. This file, which will be included in this and future issue of Society and Physician, includes studies on health conditions and minimum standards in prisons.
