Özet
The rapid advances in today’s healthcare sector represent a period of search for new and effective approaches for the treatment and management of diseases. The bioactive properties of natural compounds can be used as potential therapeutic agents in treating many diseases. The search for new and effective strategies in cancer treatment has increased rapidly in recent years, and this search has led to the need to examine more closely the potential therapeutic roles of compounds derived from natural sources. Curcumin and resveratrol are natural compounds that are used as supplements in many countries and are considered a “new drug” with great potential. This chapter focuses on evaluating natural compounds such as curcumin and resveratrol as potential cancer therapeutics. Under the title “Compounds as Promising Cancer Therapeutics,” we aim to analyze in depth the potential of compounds such as curcumin and resveratrol in particular in this context.
