Özet
• Objective: To adapt the Satisfaction with Prosthesis Questionnaire (SAT-PRO) into Turkish and to assess the reliability and validity of SAT-TRO in lower limb amputees. • Material and Method: SAT-PRO was administered to 74 lower-limb amputee patients wearing prostheses. One month later, retest was applied to 35 patients. SF-36 was also applied to the same group of 35 patients for validity. • Results: Turkish version of SAT-PRO fitted the one-dimensional construct that the scale was intended to measure and demonstrated good reliability. Cronbach's alpha was 0.83 and items-total correlation ranged from 0.25 (item 3) to 0.80 (items 1). Test-retest correlation coefficient was 0.79. Correlations with SF-36 subscales (except general and mental health subscales) was statistically significant, and ranged from 0.35 (physical functioning) to 0.52 (pain) • Conclusion: We conclude that the Turkish version of SAT-PRO demonstrates good reliability and validity for measuring satisfaction with prosthesis in people with lower-limb amputation.
