A case of acute pancreatitis with intestinal pseudoobstruction

Özet
A 36 years old man was admitted to our department due to fever, abdominal distention and acute constipation. He had two attacks of acute pancreatitis in one year. We diagnosed pancreatic abscess with intestinal pseudoobstruction after X-ray and computerized tomographic (CT) evaluation of abdomen. Drainage of pancreatic abscess with percutaneous catheter techniques using CT guidance performed by radiologist previously. After this procedure, acute abdomen appeared in the patient and surgical treatment was necessary. The patient improved after surgical drainage of pancreatic abscess. This case is reported because of instructive peculiarity.
