Özet
Partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC) is the congenital anomaly in which one or more, but not all, of the pulmonary veins are connected to a systemic vein that is usually associated with sinus venosus type atrial septal defect (ASD). PAPVC with intact atrial septum is considerably rare. The number of pulmonary venous structures that anomalously return into systemic veins defines the clinical picture. Echocardiography, angiography, computerized tomographic angiography and magnetic resonance angiography are used in diagnosis. The course and prognosis for partially anomalous pulmonary venous connection are probably similar to those of an isolated ASD with a comparable left-to-right shunt. Pulmonary vascular obstructive disease is rare but undoubtedly occurs. We wanted to report three cases with PAPVC with intact atrial septum. Copyright © 2012 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
