Özet

Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) is a rare disease characterized by myocardial ischemia which becomes symptomatic shortly after birth leading to left heart failure and death. Survival to adulthood have been reported in some cases. Recognition and diagnosis of ALCAPA syndrome is important due to its potentiallylife-threatening complications. This case report emphasizes the importance of diagnosing late presentation of the ALCAPA syndrome. © Gülhane Askeri Ti{dotless}p Akademisi 2010.
