Özet
Between 1994-1996, 5 patients with histologically proven pilomatrixoma were admitted to our department. These are presented and evaluated retrospectively in this article. The ages ranged between 4 to 13 years (mean age 10 years). Four patients were female, and one was male. We examined 6 tumors from 5 patients. In order of frequency the anatomic locations were head and neck (66.7 %) upper extremity (33.3 %). We performed total excision in all of the patients. All of tumors were examples of typical or classical pilomatrixoma. No recurrence occurred during the follow-up period.
