Özet

Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) or Lyell's syndrome is an idiosyncratic, severe, systemic disease characterized by extensive epidermal layers exfoliation, fever, conjunctivitis, rhinitis, cough, sore throat, myalgia, anorexia and mucous membrane involvement. Drug reactions are the most common cause of TEN. The nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are widely used in the world and frequently cause cutaneous adverse drug reactions such as TEN. Although TEN has been frequently reported with tolmetin, zomepirac sodium and piroxicam use, TEN associated with naproxen sodium has been reported for only one case in the literature. Here, we report a case with TEN due to naproxen sodium use.
