Özet
In our study, we aimed to compare the effectiveness or cryo-cuff + intraarticular bupivacaine and cryo-cuff + intraarticular bupivacain + morphine in reducing the pain occurring after arthroscopy. 30 patients, ASA I, were included in this study. Cases were randomly allocated into two groups following arthroscopic procedure under spinal anesthesia. In group I (n:15), 0.25% bupivacaine 5 cc. and in group II (n:15), 0.25% bupivacaine 5 cc. and morphine 1 mg were injected into the intraarticular space. After drug administration, cryo-cuff system was applicated to the patients in both groups to prevent postoperative edema and to provide postoperative analgesia. During the 48 hours postoperatively, requirements and time that analgesics were given, were recorded. Patient's analgesic status scored over Visual Analog Scala (VAS) at 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 36 and 48th hours postoperatively. Student's t test and Chi-square test were used for statistical evaluation. During the 48 hours postoperatively, the number of patients who needed analgesic in group I was one, no patients in group II needed any analgesic drug. Although VAS value in group II is low or than group I in the basis of evaluation of VAS between the groups in times, no statistically significant difference was determined. We concluded that the relief of pain after arthroscopy using cryo-cuff and bupivacaine 0.25% with morphine administered intraarticularly is better than cryo-cuff and 0.25% bupivacaine administered intraarticularly.
