Özet
Congenital pulmonary vein stenosis (PVS) is a rare cardiac abnormality either isolated or associated with other congenital heart defects and has a poor prognosis. The diagnosis may be late because it presents with symptoms of respiratory system secondary to pulmonary venous congestion, such as cough, tachypnea and dyspnea in newborn period or early infancy, it may be misdiagnosed as pneumonia, immunodeficiency, bronhcopulmonary dysplasia. Herein, two cases with congenital PVS which are associated with partially anomalous venous return and are successfully operated were reported. Copyright © 2011 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
