Özet

Patients with idiopathic scrotal calcinosis present with multiple, asymptomatic calcified nodules on the scrotum that appear in childhood or early adulthood. The scrotal skin can be extensively affected, and scrotal reconstruction with complicated procedures usually seems to be needed after excision. However, primary closure is usually achievable. Two cases are presented with histopathologic findings of scrotal calcinosis. The possible etiologies are discussed, and the therapeutic alternatives are reviewed. © 2010 Elsevier Inc.
