Özet
Amyloid can be found in some diseases localized on lesion regions. One of these diseases is basal cell carcinoma (BCC). In our study we aimed to investigate the presence of amyloid in 35 BCC tissue specimen and the amyloid's relationship between BOC's histopathologic types and some parameters. Amyloid is found on the 60% of the BCC patients. The presence or amyloid didn't change with the gender of the patients, the age of the patients, the tumour's histopathologic types or apopitosis. A relationship between solar elastosis and mitotic rate quantity and the presence of amyloid is detected. Our findings are discussed with literature information.
