Özet
Personality disorders were considered to be as a result of mostly external events and interpersonal relationships. Recently, various biological studies and theories related to personality disorders were emerged and changed their direction from how were the biological processes in specific disorders than to biological basis of dimensions of psychopathology frequently found to be distrupted in patients with personality disorders. In psychopharmacological management of personality disorders outcome focused approach gained for relevance than other alternative approaches.
