Özet
Thrombotic thrombocytic purpura (TTP) is a life-threatening disorder. Without plasma exchange treatment (PET) the mortality rate is quite high. Double-filtration plasmapheresis is an alternative opportunity for TTP patients refractory to PET. Here we report our experience in a refractory TTP patient who was successfully treated by means of double-filtration plasmapheresis therapy. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
