Özet
It is not possible to predict the difficulty and problems which a soldier at operational tasks will be confronted with. But, it is a necessity for both the leader and staff of him to be prepared for these uncertanties and to cope them with a directly and effective manner. Besides exact knowledge about operational issues, a leader should well know the problems that can effect the staff and the ways they cope with these problems. The task of the leader at operational tasks is to focus the staff to target. Besides this basic task, the leader also have tasks such as increasing the morale and motivation of staff, supporting psychologically and taking necessary precautions for relaxing and easing conditions for them. The leaders constitutes a supportive union environment, union soul and friendship, they also support new staff and determine the people that will orient them. Also, the leaders should be in connection with psychological support professionals. At operational tasks, the best indicator of psychological support is the training level and experience of the union. A good military training increases the self confidence of both the leader and staff and prepares the union members to task and determines how they will struggle with task stressors and how they will react to difficult conditions. Leaders need to learn to face up with the facts by taking into account their own psychological needs at the same time.
