Coexistent pulmonary tuberculosis, endometrial tuberculosis and intracranial tuberculomas in a non-immunocompromised woman

Özet
Intracranial tuberculoma and genital tuberculosis are samples of extra pulmonary tuberculosis. The incidence of extra pulmonary tuberculosis is high in populations with a high prevalence of tuberculosis. Coexistence of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB), intracranial tuberculomas and endometrial tuberculosis in a non-immunocompromised patient is very uncommon. We present a 40 years old female patient with PTB, intracranial tuberculomas and endometrial tuberculosis with clinical and laboratory findings. A very good response to antituberculous chemotherapy was seen in this patient. This case reminds us again that the disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis not only involves lungs, it also involves other organs/systems and presents as a systemic disease particularly when it is in miliary form and responses to chemotherapy with regularly used antituberculous drugs well.
